Rachel is definitely a local girl having been born in the nearby city of Lake Forest. She graduated from Whittier College, class of 2017, with a degree in Biology. She is a lover of animals and softball. Rachel played competitively for 16 years, starting with Mission Viejo Girls Softball and hanging up her cleats after being a pitcher at Whittier College. She perfected her skills of helping people as a Girl Scout. Her 12 years as a scout resulted in her earning bronze, silver, and gold awards.
In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, the beach, hiking, road trips, Disneyland, and spending quality time with her friends and family. She is a huge Dodger fan. Rachel is also active in her church. Raleigh, her Lab, beagle, husky, mutt mix is an adoptee from a Tijuana, Mexico rescue organization. They love going on adventures together especially when they end up at a dog beach.
Growing up, she knew she had a big heart for animals so it isn’t surprising that she has become one of our veterinary nursing assistants. Rachel plans on applying to veterinary school in the near future.
